VasfEFI UX 1.0.5 - Quick Start ============================== System requirements ------------------- - Windows 10 or Windows 11 - USB data cable - VasfEFI S1 or VasfEFI S2 ECU Installation and connection --------------------------- 1. Run VasfEFI_Setup_1.0.5.exe and complete the installation. 2. Connect the ECU to the computer with a USB data cable. 3. VasfEFI S1: - Select the FTDI USB serial port. - If no COM port appears, run the included FTDI driver installer. 4. VasfEFI S2: - Windows should detect the STM32 USB CDC / Virtual COM Port automatically. - Normal ECU communication appears as a COM port. - DFU / BOOT mode is only for firmware flashing and does not appear as a normal COM port. 5. Open VasfEFI UX. 6. Open Project Settings and select the correct controller: - S1 (AVR) for VasfEFI S1 - S2 (STM32) for VasfEFI S2 7. Select the correct COM port and connect. 8. Confirm that live ECU data is visible before changing or burning calibrations. VasfEFI S2 RealDash CAN ----------------------- - Enable Internal CAN bus in VasfEFI UX. - Select "VasfEFI Dashboard v1" under CAN Broadcasting. - Bus speed: 500 kbit/s - Standard 11-bit identifiers: 0x600 to 0x606 - Import VasfEFI_S2_CAN_Dashboard_v1_0x600_0x606.xml into RealDash. Safety ------ Professional installation and calibration are required. Verify wiring, grounds, power supplies and configuration before operating the engine. Incorrect wiring or calibration can damage the ECU, engine or connected components.
