Overview

The VasfEFI Wideband Controller is designed around a dedicated Bosch LSU interface and controls the sensor heater while providing a filtered 0–5 V analogue signal for compatible engine management systems.

The enclosed module is supplied with a pre-terminated sensor harness and a vehicle-side installation connector, keeping the LSU connection protected and reducing installation work at the sensor end.

Sensor requirement

Images on this page show the controller and supplied harness only. The Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor must be purchased separately. Compatibility and measurement performance are not guaranteed with generic, copied or alternative sensor references.

Installation connection

The vehicle-side connector provides the four required installation connections:

• Switched +12 V supply with external fuse; relay-fed supply is preferred
• Chassis ground
• Battery negative or engine ground
• 0–5 V analogue output to the ECU, display or datalogger input

Connect the analogue output only to a compatible high-impedance input and keep signal wiring away from ignition coils, injectors and other high-current wiring where possible.
